Chairman and CEO,
Hospitality Performance
Founder
Epix Hotels
“Bill simply perceives no obstacles in attaining his goals, and he never stops learning. He’s a guy of incredible energy and optimism, and loves to work in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by similarly entrepreneurial minded achievers.”
These are just a few of the words spoken about Bill Kilburg on the INC magazine website, where he has been nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year. The living embodiment of the entrepreneurial dream, Bill lives the life he designed, leading great teams, working with spectacular people, changing an industry while enjoying a lifestyle with his family most anyone would envy.
Bill’s own Lucky Napkin story is enough inspiration for any entrepreneur. He started his career as a bellman to earn his way through school and get his CPA. He worked his way through the ranks to an executive’s chair and loved the business so much he bought a hotel for himself. Then he got so good at it he bought a few more and along the way pulled out his pen and sketched out a plan to revolutionize the entire industry
Today, he’s owner of Epix Hotels and co-founder of Hospitality Performance Network (HPN), the fastest growing site selection and meeting procurement company in the United States. Since opening in 2002, they have grown by over 227 percent and expanded from two full time employees to a network of 80 sales associates. This year HPN anticipates placing $90 million in booked room revenue with about 2,500 meetings planned throughout the country for global market leading companies.
As a founding partner in Lucky Napkin, Bill brings his big deal genius to the team. He can spot opportunity in the financial documents when others only see red ink.
